PRESIDENTIAL MANAGEMENT ALUMNI ASSOCIATION (PMAA) ANNOUNCES NEW PARTNERSHIP WITH FEDERAL CAREER CONNECTION (FCC, Inc.)
PMAA and FCC to promote career and leadership opportunities in the Federal Government
Mt. Vernon, VA (8/25/2023) – The Presidential Management Alumni Association (PMAA) is pleased to announce its new partnership with the Federal Career Connection, Inc. (FCC) a non-profit organization dedicated to increase awareness and participation in public, national, military, or other federal service professions. Working together, PMAA and FCC aim to share resources and collaborate on professional development and educational products – supporting their shared goal of cultivating future government leaders from diverse backgrounds.
FCC, Inc. focuses on supporting individuals in career transitions with access to high quality resources about federal careers, services, and opportunities at no cost. PMAA’s mission is to support alumni of OPM’s prestigious Presidential Management Fellows program and advocate for the program across government. Together, the nonprofits look forward to expanding their audiences and creating new resources and relationships.
Both organizations have a deep commitment to education and knowledge sharing. As part of the partnership, FCC and PMAA will each contribute valuable blog articles and offer representatives to serve as speakers during upcoming events, broadening their collective knowledge base and network. They are eagerly looking forward to these opportunities to share insights and professional experiences as a result.
“We’re looking forward to this collaboration bringing new resources to our membership while helping expand awareness and use of the PMF program. FCC’s work to educate and expand the ranks of public servants is exactly in line with PMAA’s efforts to promote public service as a career,” said Maria De Fazio, Executive Director of PMAA.
