Thanks for Your Support in 2024
Dear Presidential Management Alumni Association Members,
As we draw the curtain on 2024, I am filled with profound gratitude and admiration for our remarkable community of public servants. This year has been one of significant achievement, growth, and poignant reflection for our association.
Throughout the year, your unwavering dedication to public service has continued to exemplify the highest ideals of the Presidential Management Fellowship. Your contributions across federal agencies, nonprofit organizations, and the private sector have demonstrated the enduring impact of our program and its alumni network.
Our organization has achieved numerous milestones this year through your active engagement. The professional development initiatives, mentoring programs, and networking events have fostered meaningful connections and enhanced our collective expertise. The robust participation in our training sessions and workshops has shown your commitment to lifelong learning and professional growth.
I want to especially recognize our PMAA volunteers and leadership team for their exceptional service. Your generous contribution of time, expertise, and energy has strengthened our community and expanded our reach. The smooth transition in our Board Executive Committee this year reflects the depth of talent and dedication within our ranks.
Please join in welcoming the incoming PMAA Executive Committee of President Laura Kunkel, Vice President Bryant Renaud, Treasurer Adam Rumrill, and Secretary Carrie Cecil. Their leadership, along with our talented Executive Director Maria De Fazio, will position PMAA for continued success.
This year also marked a solemn moment in our organization's history with the passing of President Jimmy Carter. His vision in establishing the Presidential Management Fellowship program through Executive Order 12008 in 1977 created a legacy that has shaped thousands of careers in public service. President Carter's commitment to excellence in government service remains a guiding light for our organization and its members.
As we look toward 2025, I am filled with optimism about the future of our association. The foundation we have built together – through our shared experiences, professional networks, and commitment to public service – positions us to make an even greater impact in the years ahead.
May the New Year bring you continued success in your endeavors, fresh opportunities for growth and impact, and renewed inspiration in your commitment to public service. The Presidential Management Alumni Association stands ready to support your journey, foster meaningful connections, and advance excellence in public service.
Here's to another year of making a difference, together.
With warmest regards,
John “Jack” Bienko
